These terms apply to the website akay.ie, the Trade Desk at quote.akay.ie and the Akay AI connector at mcp.akay.ie (together, "our services"). They are provided by Akay (IRL) Ltd, trading as AKAY Trade, company number (CRO) 250418, 36 Gleann An Oir, Shannon, Co. Clare, V14 V006, Ireland. By using our services you agree to these terms.

1. Trade buyers only

We sell only to businesses buying for resale or for business use. We do not sell to consumers. You must be 18 or over and act for a business. The catalogue includes alcoholic drinks, which we supply only to trade buyers in line with the law of the country of delivery.

2. Listings and prices

• Listings show indicative trade prices. They are an invitation to enquire, not an offer that can be accepted.
• Prices are shown in each listing's own currency (EUR, USD or GBP) and exclude VAT, excise duty and freight unless the Incoterm says otherwise.
• Stock, price, minimum order quantity, Incoterm and duty status are subject to confirmation and can change without notice. A listing more than 30 days old is shown as indicative.
• We may correct errors in listings at any time.

3. Orders

A contract is formed only when we confirm an order in writing (for example with a pro-forma invoice or order confirmation). Our standard trading terms apply unless the confirmation says otherwise:

• Spirits: minimum order EUR 5,000
• Champagne: minimum order EUR 15,000
• FMCG: minimum order EUR 10,000
• Beer, wine and soft drinks: full truck loads (FTL) only
• Back-to-back on confirmed orders; no credit terms

Where a listing states its own minimum, that minimum applies.

4. Instant Quote, chat and the AI connector

• These tools match your products to our listings automatically and can make mistakes. Check every line before you rely on it. Their output is not an offer or an order confirmation.
• The AI connector is free, read-only and shows only the public catalogue. It may be changed, limited or withdrawn at any time. It applies fair-use limits; do not try to get around them.
• Do not scrape, overload, probe or misuse our services, and do not use them for anything unlawful.

5. Intellectual property

The website, the catalogue as compiled, and our text and designs belong to Akay (IRL) Ltd. Product and brand names belong to their owners; their use here describes the goods and does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

6. Liability

Our services are provided as they are, without any promise that they will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, arising from use of the website or tools. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Liability for confirmed orders is governed by the order confirmation and our trading terms.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction.
